Membership

Home » About Us » Membership
Membership is not about attending church meetings or voting rights. We believe God has called us to make disciples and the best way we know how to do that is through covenant membership. By entering into a covenant with one another, we are committing to be a part of a spiritual family – one that supports, encourages, and loves one another. We covenant to lead you, pray for you, and teach the Scriptures, as well as provide support and counsel as needed. You covenant with us to protect the unity, share in the responsibility, and support the testimony of the church.

Membership Class- Family 101

We offer covenant membership through our Family 101 class. In this class we will teach you who we are as a church and where we feel God is leading us. You’ll also get to know other people and families in this smaller environment. For more information about our Family 101 class or to sign up for the next one, please contact Helen Viator.

Baptism at CFF

For many, baptism is the first public step of obedience to Christ. If you have not been baptized following salvation, we ask you to take this step before becoming a Covenant Member. To help prepare you, we ask that you contact Helen Viator or another pastor about baptism.

Signing the Covenant

The final step in becoming a member is to attend a Family 101 class and sign the Membership Covenant. We will explain the covenant, listen to your testimony and answer any questions you might have. Once you fulfill the requirements of membership and sign the covenant, you are considered a Covenant Member.
