What We Believe About Worship
Worship is our response to God for who He is, what He has done and is doing – in us, through us and around us. When we think on the truths of God – His nature, His character, and His will – it stirs our affections for Him. We then express these thoughts and emotions in a multitude of ways: singing, shouting, confessing, dancing, weeping, kneeling, clapping, praying, being still, giving, etc.
Our Weekend Services
During our weekend services, our prayer is that God would change our hearts and lives and help us walk in obedience towards Him. Music is of high value here at CFF so we strive to “make melody to the Lord” with all our heart (Eph 5:19-20). We also believe that music is one of best ways to memorize Scripture and to remember the character and nature of God.
We want to make much of Jesus, not ourselves, so we strive to create an environment that helps us to focus our attention on Christ and the work He has done on the cross. At CFF we have folks from all walks of life so whether you’re young or old, married or single, enjoy rock music or traditional hymns – you will be accepted and loved. We invite you to participate as little or as much as you feel comfortable doing so. Join us this next week and see what God is doing – in us, through us, and around us!
